Before you begin

Before deleting a connection from Pureport to Azure ExpressRoute, you must delete the connection on the Pureport side and delete any Private or Microsoft Peering configurations you may have created on the Azure side of the connection.

You can delete the following sections in any order, but both must be completed before you can delete the ExpressRoute circuit itself.

Deleting the connection on the Pureport side

To delete the connection:

  1. Log into the Pureport Console and navigate to the appropriate network.

  2. Click the Delete icon for the connection to delete.

  3. The system prompts for confirmation. Click Ok.

Deleting any peering configuration on the Azure side

To delete the connection:

  1. Log into the Azure portal and navigate to the ExpressRoute circuit.

  2. The circuit should show Not Provisioned in the Provider Status field.

  3. Click on the peering:

  4. Click Delete.

  5. The system prompts for confirmation. Click Yes.

  6. You can now delete the circuit itself.
